We'd like to thank the many people and businesses who assited us in gaining sponsorship and provided us with goods to make money for the charities and our adventure possible. Firstly we'd like to thank Colin Smith of Panasonic, Kirriemuir for their generous donation of a video camera to record the trip. Secondly to Motech of Forfar for servicing our Hijet before we left. Also we'd like to thank DUSA or letting us host a raffle for which we received many donations including tickets to the Wickerman Festival, Bedlam Paintball, Splash White Water Rafting (Aberfeldy), Knockhill Racing Tickets, Quad Biking, A Day at Perth Races, Microlighting (Pegasus of Perth), cinema tickets, shop vouchers and many other goods.
We'd also like to thank everyone else who donated to the charities and helped us acheive the £1300 we have so far raised.
Also we'd like to acknowledge all the people who helped us on the way, Dal's dad for taking us to the lakes in Lithuania and feeding us, the Kiwis Percy and Brucie (Will and Henry) for towing us into Volgograd, Alexi, Rosa, Sergei and Andrei at the Volgograd mechanics for fixing our car and showing us a good time, to Dima, Irena, Micha, Veronica and Andrei of Omsk for their amazing hospitality, and also to Driving Dotty for pulling us out of a river and taking us 150km the wrong way after our crash.
